What you enter stays on your device
DunlinSign runs entirely in your browser. The details you enter are never sent to us and nothing is uploaded. There are no accounts and we do not store your work. To save you retyping, your signature details are kept in this browser's local storage on your device; clearing your browser data removes them.
One exception: if you add a photo or logo link, your browser loads that image straight from the address you pasted so it can show the preview (the same thing every email app does when it shows your signature). The site hosting the image sees that request, as with any image on the web. We never see it.
Anonymous usage statistics
We use privacy-friendly analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics, and possibly Umami) to count visits. They do not use cookies or track you across other sites. They record things like page views, country and browser type, and simple events such as "an export was made". They never record what you enter.
Error reports
If the app hits an error, it sends an anonymous error report (error text, browser, page, app version). Never anything you type or upload.
A report contains only the error message and where in our code it happened, your browser name and main version (for example "Firefox 131"), the page address without anything after "?" or "#", and the app version. Before anything is sent, the app removes text that could have come from you, such as your name, job title, company, phone numbers, links, address and image links, quoted text, email addresses, web addresses and long numbers. It never includes your signature or its HTML. Reports contain no IP address, cookies or user ID, and an error's details are deleted automatically once it has not happened again for 90 days.
Advertising
If ads are shown on the free version, the ad provider may use cookies to show and measure ads. Where required, we will ask for your consent first.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, and error reports are received by a Cloudflare Worker. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes basic request data (such as IP address) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse; our error collector does not store it.
