Outlook email signature. Built to survive Outlook.

Outlook is fussy about HTML. DunlinSign builds signatures from simple tables with inline styles, the format Outlook on the web, Windows and Mac all display correctly.

1 Your details
2 Photo or logo

Email apps load the image from a link, so it has to be online. Right-click your photo or logo on your website, then "Copy image address". For the round shape, use a square image.

3 Social links and button
4 Style

Built for email apps

Table layout with every style inlined, the way Gmail and Outlook need it. No broken layouts after pasting.

Private

Your phone number and address are turned into a signature in your browser. Nothing is sent to us.

Click-ready links

Phone numbers dial, emails open a new message and social links go straight to your profiles.

How to add your signature to Outlook

Outlook on the web and the new Outlook for Windows

  1. Fill in the form above and click Copy signature.
  2. In Outlook, open Settings (gear icon) → Account → Signatures.
  3. Click New signature, name it, and paste into the editor.
  4. Choose it as the default for new messages and replies, then click Save.

Classic Outlook for Windows

  1. Click Copy signature above.
  2. In Outlook go to File → Options → Mail → Signatures…
  3. Click New, name it, paste into the edit box, and set it as the default for new messages and replies.
  4. Click OK.

Outlook for Mac

  1. Copy the signature, then in Outlook choose Outlook → Settings → Signatures.
  2. Click +, paste, close the editor, and pick the default for your account.

Why some signatures break in Outlook

Classic Outlook for Windows renders email with Microsoft Word's engine, which ignores most modern CSS such as flexbox and many margins. Signatures made with tables and inline styles, like the ones here, keep their layout. Photos and logos should come from a web link so they show for recipients too.

Email signature FAQ

Can I use a different signature for replies in Outlook?

Yes. In the Signatures settings, Outlook lets you pick one default for new messages and another (or none) for replies and forwards. Many people use a shorter one for replies.

My company uses Microsoft 365. Can I still use this?

Yes, for your own signature. If your IT team sets signatures centrally, theirs may be added automatically. Check with them first.

Does it work in the new Outlook for Windows?

Yes. The new Outlook uses the same Settings → Account → Signatures screen as Outlook on the web.

Is the email signature generator free?

Yes. Make and copy as many signatures as you like, with no signup. The small "Created with DunlinSign" link is optional.

Will it work in Gmail and Outlook?

Yes. The signature uses simple tables and inline styles, which Gmail, Outlook (web, Windows and Mac) and Apple Mail all support.

Why does my photo need a link?

Email signatures load images from the web. Pasted or attached images are often stripped or shown as attachments. Use a PNG or JPG that's already on your website or profile.

Is my information stored?

Only in this browser, so your details are still here next time. Nothing is uploaded. If you add a photo link, your browser loads that image straight from its address to show the preview, just as an email app will. Apart from that, the only things ever sent are cookie-free visit counts (Cloudflare Web Analytics, see Privacy) and an anonymous error report if something breaks (error text, browser, page, app version), never anything you type or upload.

Can I make signatures for my whole team?

Team signatures from a spreadsheet are coming in Pro. For now, fill in the form once per person.
